MORE shopping?

It's official; I shouldn't be able to leave the house. I went to the mall to get my friends homecoming dress, and I end up going and dropping 55$ on stuff, haha. The brown, skinny cords were orriginally $44.50, but I had $20 off, so I got them for $24.50. The sweaters were both $7.50, and look sooo much better IRL. The jeans were only $12.50. These are just to wear with boots, because my other skinny jeans are huge on my calves, so they look funny!

Whaddya think!?

Mores shopping?

Yep! Well, kinda. My cousin (Jenna, two years older than I am) gave me these tops! One is gray and has dinos on it, the other is a blue sweater vest type thing, and the other is a top with soda can things on it. I got the two scarfs at the State Fair; 1 for $15, or 2 for $25, I obviously went for the two ;) The brownish scarf is hard to photograph, because of the gold throughout the scarf, it also has a bunch of different colors throughout, it's sooo gorgeous! Whatcha think?!

More shopping?!

Yes. I went shopping, yet again. Two days in a row actually. Whenever me and my cousin are together, all we do is shop, it seems. She is sixteen, so she can drive us wherever. First, we went to Delias, and I got two basic tees for 5$ each. They were originally 16.50$ a piece. Here they are:

And they're super comfy! Than, the next day I went to TJMaxx, and dropped $45 on this stuff, and a sports bra.

The swimsuit was $5 a piece, the sweaters both $14.99, and the tank was $3. The sports bra was $2.99! So it was great!

Than my cousin also gave me some stuff. I got three tops from Delias, and a pair of dark wash flare jeans that fit be beautifully!

Like my stuff?

BTSS!

Back to school shopping time! I went today with two of my best girlfriends, and it was amazing! We had a long day of shopping, and for the last hour we went to Bloomingdales and tried on Homecoming dresses, since it's our first! It was soo fun! This is what I got:

The teal top is from Forever21, and was $19.80. It's gorgeous, and will look great with dark wash skinny jeans and some chestnut uggs!

The pink top is from Delias, and was originally 29.90, but I spent 19.90, since I had a 10$ off coupon!

The top is from UO, and was $9.99, and was originally $38. It's sooo pretty!

The bag is just for class to class to hold my binders and pencils, and itw as $10 from VS.

The tank was free and I got it at Wetseal!

The cardigan was $40, but I had a 20$ gift card, so I only paid $20! And I love it!

What do you think?!

Booties!

I've found a new love; boots. I really like UGGS, but don't own any. I might be asking for some for christmas -- good investment, or no? Think they'll be out of style soon? Where I live, half the year is winter. October, November, December, January, February, March, and finally in April it starts to get nice again. Every winter I'm sitting here wearing ballet flats from Target. Comfy, yes. Practical with the snow, not so much. So now I'm on the lookout for cute, wintery shoes, so I won't be wearing my flats all winter long. Here's my list as of now:

- sweater boots
- mocassins
- Uggs/ugg looking boots

Last year, Oldnavy has some gorgeous sweaterboots, that were perfect in every way. Target has some really cute mocassins as well! And Uggs... not so sure right now! So, answer my questions pleasee!!

Leah

EDIT: I found a few pair's of shoes that I'm interested in! The boots would be in a chocolate color! Whaddya think?!

New Clothes!

I went shopping yesterday, for a few basics, and a few cute shirts! Here's what I got:

The blue shirt looks a lot better on, and I got it on clearance from AE woot! I also got a free tshirt there for trying on jeans, good for sleeping.

The black shirt also looks better on, and was also on clearance.

The white sweatshirt is something I needed for my lazy days, again on clearance.

I went to Plato's closet and got the HCO jeans, that are amazing. They were only $18.00 too! There a bit long, so I have to hem them, but I don't care, there gorgeous, and exactly what I needed I also got a white henley from AE there, for $5. Again, basic, but I needed it.

I also got this green sweatshirt from the Dear line, for only 8.98. I had bought these patches from VS right before that (so I could get a free makeup bag for camp) and there iron on, so I'm going to iron them on, and it'll look like a sweatshirt from VS, woot! also for lazy days.

Only 70$ for all that, which I think is pretty good. Now, I'm going shopping next month, and I'll get all my interesting clothing :)

Comment, and tell me what you think pleasseee!

HCO... unique?

Hey ladies! Well, I just had a birthday party, and got amazing gifts! I got this shirt from HCO, that I actually really like, and I'm usually not a huge fan of the store. The only thing is I'm having troubles deciding what to wear with it! I don't want to look like a cookie cutter HCO person, but I'm having difficulties on making it look different! What do you think?! Oh, and I definatley need something underneath, or otherwise it's like a peep show, if you catch my drift ;] Please help!

I went shopping ... again!

Haha, yes, I got more clothes. I've been getting a lot lately :] From Target, I purchased plain black shorts. There a basic cotton. Now I have every color short ; khaki, white, black, and multi color!

I also got a pattern and fabric for a dress I'm going to make tomorrow! The pattern's below. Mine is going to be in a nice white eyelet. It's actually going to be the B/C one, with the halter neck.

That's all for now! My birthday is coming up, so I shall be getting loads more clothing than!

Basics and Sandals!

I went binge shopping at Forever21.com and spent $40.04... pretty good seeing as I got 5 shirts and a pair of sandals. I just got the basics off my list. The money was from my aunt for my bday in exactly a month (look for a huge post than, seeing as I'm having 12 girls... 20$ each for presents... that's $240 of clothes :]) so I only had to pay 4 cents. It would've been 6.95 cheaper, but with dang shipping. Ah well, I can never find aything in the store anyways, so it's fine! What do you think of it?! They look kinda tacky online, but they look better in real life!

Also, what do you think of any outfit like this, but with a normal tank, and without the hat?

Please rate both!! Thanks!

Leah♥

Highschool!

So, I'm finally entering Highschool! Yesterday was my last day of Middleschool. If you remember, my first post on this blog was a list of the makeup, clothes, and shoes that I want. Now that it's summer, and highschool is coming up, I need a new and imporved list. If you have any other ideas of stuff I need, or where to buy it, that'd be greatly apprecitaed. Oh, and don't forget, I only get 50$ a month for clothing (so, 150$) for the entire summer, but I'm having a Birthday Party, having about 12 girls, so I'll be getting around 240$ worth of gifts, and most likely at least 150$ of that will be for giftcards! I also generally get $50 from both grandparents. Wow. I'm going to be loaded this summer!

CLOTHES

- Dark wash, flare jeans (Delias or Hollister)
- Plain camis (white, gray, black)
- Plain tanks (white, red, orange, purple)
- Plain Tshirts (what ever color I can find)
- Neutral colored cardigans (white, gray, black)

NOTE: I need help finding places to get cardigans!! Once I have all that, I will be buying other, more intresting pieces. I need basics, before I get anything else though. For most of those, I'm going to be using Target, Forever21 and maybe Hollister clearance.

SHOES/ACCESORIES

- Jewlery (random, vintage pieces)
- Black sandals (Target, looks like UO)
- Brown sandals/flats
- Black low-top converse (maybe?)
- Colored low-top converse (TJMaxx)
- Big tote (Target)

MAKEUP

- Yellow Nailpolish (I need it. One of my bizarre wants)
- Eyeshadow
- Gold/silver eyeliner
- Peach lipgloss

NOTE:These will all be from Target or Drugstores.

Leah♥

Shopping!

I went shopping yesterday and got a few new things... Here they are!

Capris: $39.50 at Hollister. I fell in love with them! They are gorgeous, fit well and are very versatile. I was a Hollister virgin up until today, when I got them
Khakis: These are also from Hollister. They were $50, but I got them for only $9.90! They're a little different from the picture.
Navy Shirt: I was also an Abercrombie vrigin! I got this shirt for $9.90! I love it, especially the crocheted part.
UO Shirt: This is such a weird shirt, and I love it. It looks so much different on me than the model. I have fair skin, so it really stands out. Can you say 1970's?
Belt: I really needed a woven leather belt. This is not the exact one I got, the one I got is from Forever21, but looks real similiar.

I also got 2 shirts from Delias. One is purple and has a picture of Star Wars on it. The other is a pale blue, and has the Food Guide Pyramid on it!

My bro's bday is coming up, so I got him some things as well. It works well, because all his things will fit me :)

Both shirts and the hat were all $48.

I am going shopping again today for shoes and maybe some designer stuff from Nordstroms Rack, so I might post soon!

Till then,
Leah

Pants!

I found one of the items on my list, and I am in love with them. Wideleg pants. There from Delias and are $39.50. A new Delias just opened up near me and I got a 20$ off coupon through email, so I'm hoping to get these pants for $19.50 instead. I am also in love with this top, and am desperatley hoping to get it. I'm in love with both items. What do you think? Good investment.

Lazy Days

Lazy days. I tend to have them. The days where I have a cold or had a terrible nights sleep and want to climb back into bed. These are the days were I really don't want to have to get dressed, even if I've already layed them out. I have a tendency to throw on a sweatshirt and tshirt and leave. I really only have one sweatshirt though. I've decided I'm going to get one more sweatshirt at Steve and Berry's for $15, either Duke or UCLA. But I also want one or two more for longing. These are what I'm thinking.

ANYONE KNOW GOOD PLACES TO BUY SWEATSHIRTS THAT AREN'T SUPER EXSPENSIVE?

Went Shopping!

I went shopping! I got a few things on my list, a few things not on my list.

I also got a red zebra printed cardigan from Oldnavy and barettes from For Love 21. I'm really happy with what I got, although I'm not sure what to wear with the scarf yet. The total of everything was $50ish. Actually more like 60$ because I bought the same shirt for my friend because she ran out of money :]

Cleaned and Shopped!

I went cleaning! I hit up my closet and got everything I wouldn't wear into a bin to make into new clothing [Thanks to the idea by the lovely Cashmere Mafia]. And now I have tons of more space! Now I just need to fill it!

I also went shopping at the local TJMaxx and checked a few things of my list.Firstly I got a cute, flowy spring top, that is amazingly cute... and was only 3 dollars. Gotta love the clearance rack. I also got two new cardigans; a purple one [Express for $10!] and a hot pink one. For all of that I spend $23. The only bummer was I was hoping they'd still have the turqouise low top converse I wanted, but, as stupid as I am, convicnced myself I didn't need and they weren't there. They were 20$ of amazingness "/

Since spring break is apon us, I've decided to go shopping at the MOA and buy my basic items. I am going to be buying cami's and tshirts [mentioned in 2nd post] at Forever21. Although people say the quality isn't very good, I have never had any problem with anything. And if it rips, it was $2.80, I think I'll survive.

That's all for now, sorry if I am boring you out of your mind! If you have any suggestions in what I should buy for shoes, makeup or clothing, please read my below posts and help me out :]

-Mascara
-Blush
-Eyeshadow
-Vaseline on my lips

My friends weren't even aware I wore makeup. Don't know if thats good or bad. Anywhoo, this is the list so far.

-New blush
-Green stick for covering red zits
-Find a GOOD face wash
- Foundation [never worn it before, but I'm gonna try!]

If you have any suggestions for brands for any of the listed above [especially face wash and foundation!] please share. Also if you have an tips for foundation, I'd be grateful. I think I also might be buying a tester of proactive. I do not have acne, but I'm starting to get whiteheads and a few blackheads frequently. It drives me insane!!

Leah the Highschool Fashionista

Hey everyone, I'm Leah! Next year I'm going to be going into Highschool, and let me say, I am freaked! I've decided I want to update my style, and start fresh with makeup. This is wear I shall be posting it. It might just be some necessities I think I will need, or a cute outfit that I can mimic. This most likely will be mega boring to anyone besides me... so sorry if it's not entertaining... that is if anyone reads it.
